(Julia, Reflection 4)

REFLECTION 4

I am not postitive I am doing this correctly. I have absolutely no experience with blogs (blogging?). I really don't even know what it is. I think it is just a webpage. I have a lot of questions about it. Is a blog just a website? If so, who can see it? It seems like making a blog is easier than creating a website from frontpage or using HTML.

As far as the e-portfolio goes, I think I am getting a better grasp on it as I go. I still am not completely sure of what we are supposed to have filled out, what we are supposed to change, where we insert things and when it all is due. Who is going to be seeing our e-portfolio? Is it something that we will continue adding onto in our 301 and 401 clusters?

Okay those are my thoughts and questions and blogs and the e-porfolio, and I hope I did this right!

Hi Julia,

You're right. Don't worry. Because we didn't have a class meeting in the second week, we left behind and just spent a little time to create a team blog in class. Actually you're doing better than I expected. I will explain it tomorrow.

Try this link to know more about blogs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog

As to the e-portfolio, take your time to edit the template. You need to think of what would you like to put in it- you're right, it is very important to think of your audience - they are likely to be principals, other teachers, or anyone you would like to share the URL link. We will upload the e-portfolio folder to an online space later this semester and you'll know the URL and be able to send to others. You'll continue working on it through 301 and 401, even forever if you would like. :)

Okay, these are my responses. Hope it helps.
